Well, yesterday marked the end of our birthday run. Believe it or not, all nine people in our family have birthdays between August and February. No spring birthdays, and just one end of the summer birthday. As you can imagine, by the time the last celebration comes around, I’m a bit tired of making birthday cakes! But, yesterday I rallied the birthday spirit one last time and made a Lego Batman cake for my 5 year old son. He’s child number six, and I would hate for him to feel slighted just because he’s at the end of the birthday train.

So on this is Saturday morning, I’d like to wish him a happy, happy birthday! Diane

What a fun cake ! And I can understand- my husband is the oldest of 6 and 4 of the birthdays are in May. You get a little burned out with that much celebrating in a short time !

Yay for the end of birthdays! Ours are all in April/May. June is so much easier since there were fewer celebrations, special meals and cakes…

With 7 grandkids & 3 grown children/hubbys or sign others, it is pretty non stop all year long but we have it pretty bad Sept-December too!

I may have told you this before, can’t remember. Girlfriend (who happens to homeschool) has 5 kids. All 7 of them have their birthdays between the middle of Feb and the middle of April.

I totally understand! Eight kids here… all their birthdays (as well as mine, and our anniversary) are from Nov. 22 through March 2nd… I am almost there! Woo-Hoo!
