Giveaway!! Weight Watchers Sweet Baked Goods Package

The good folks at Weight Watchers Sweet Baked Goods asked if I’d like to try some of their brand new coffee cakes. Being the Weight Watchers fan that I am – not to mention having just a bit of a sweet tooth, I agreed. Especially when my contact told me what else I could try – and you can too!

The Giveaway Package:

  • 2 boxes of Weight Watchers coffee cakes
  • 1 really fabulous yoga mat, with a case and elastic straps to hold the mat together while you put it in and out
  • 1 box of Nescafe’ Taster’s Choice Vanilla flavored coffee in 20 single serve packets
  • 1 very cute Eco coffee cup and
  • 1 $15 iTunes gift card

I unrolled the yoga mat and couldn’t believe how long it was. It’s soft and squishy and it made of a non-slip fabric.

Next, I prepared the coffee in the very cute Eco mug, and unwrapped the Weight Watcher’s coffee cake. I admit to being a “grind my own coffee beans” kinda girl, but I was very pleasantly surprised at the smooth flavor and great smell of the coffee. The coffee cakes were really moist, a nice size and I knew they were going to be tasty.

I shared the coffee cakes with the whole family and the consensus was: Yum! They are small, as you can see from the picture, which is perfect for portion control. They were super moist and the mix of nuts, cake and filling was just right. I think it’s make a great little treat, and the calories are very reasonable. If you follow the Weight Watcher’s point system, the cakes have 3 points.

Here’s the nutritional information on the cakes. At 120 calories, 3.5 g of fat, 150 mg of sodium and 5 g of fiber, I think it’s a nice balance of calories and nutrition.

Here I am after the dishes were cleaned and the kids were in bed enjoying another cup of coffee. All I need now is to download some free songs from iTunes on my mp3 and I’m good to go. Too bad all the coffee cakes were gone – or maybe it’s not too bad after all!

Hi Diane, I always eat our good fresh milled bread made into toast for breakfast, along with 2 scrambled eggs fresh from my chickens.
How’s your bread making going? I made some yummy rolls a couple days ago: http://homesteadblogger.com/countryhomeschoolin/159608/
Surely you smelled them from your place…they were good! lol.Tomorrow is my 1 year anniversary of eating healthy and losing weight (52 lbs. for the year) and I am only about 10 pounds from goal. Yay! And I did it by eating our bread EVERY SINGLE DAY too.

  34. Cara Hall says:

For breakfast yesterday I had a chocolate microwave muffin topped with cold coconut milk. Putting a can of coconut milk in the refrigerator makes it get very thick and creamy. I sweetened it with a few drops of liquid Stevia. Muffin ingrediants were one egg, 1/2 c. ground flaxseed meal, a smidgen of baking powder, maybe 1 T. of cocoa powder, and sweetener of your choice (I used powdered Stevia), plus a little water if batter is too thick. Microwave in a bowl for 1 min. on high.
