As part of the fun-filled adventure for being a Sabra tastemaker, I got to host a Sabra house party this weekend. They sent me a great box full of key chains for the guests, coupons for the attendees and myself, recipe cards, an apron for me, and a cute trivet and spatula set.
I went back and forth over who to invite, as most of my friends already love Sabra hummus. In the end, I decided to think outside the box a bit and move the party to John’s office, where I knew that the majority of the ladies and gents there had never tried hummus, nor even heard of it.
So I prepared three simple hummus dishes. I kept it simple because I wanted them to experience the flavor rather than use it in an elaborate salad or casserole. I grilled chicken on my stove, and spread classic hummus on a whole wheat, high-fiber wrap. I added organic romaine lettuce, red peppers, and the cooked chicken to the wrap and rolled it up. (The hummus kept the wraps together, which eliminated the need for toothpicks.) I cut each wrap into fourths as the wraps themselves were enormous.
I bought three different kinds of chips for Roasted Red Pepper Hummus, and made a vegetable and cracker tray for the classic hummus.
There were 16 people who came, although most were camera shy. Here are a few pictures. Everyone loved the hummus, and I got to explain to most of them what hummus was made from and how good for them it was! Fun!!

Sabra is by far, our favorite hummus! Sometimes it is out of stock at our grocery store and I just can’t bring myself to buy another brand, so we go without hummus until the store restocks it.
We love every flavor that we have tried and wish that our grocery store would try some new flavors, as the ones I have read about on the FB sound amazing! Attended a Sabra House Party last night. What a great chance for a girls night out! We had board games available to pass the time, but we had a chance to catch up with each other, so no games necessary!
