Oh my goodness. If you are a music lover like I am then you will love, love, love these amazing headphones from SOL REPUBLIC. They have a retail value of $199.99 and are worth every penny.

SOL REPUBLIC contacted me and asked me if I’d like to try their just released Master Tracks Over-Ear Headphones and give one lucky reader a pair for him or herself!

Here’s what the very classy box looks like when you get it.

And here’s what comes in the box: The headphones with a detachable Sound Track band, the cable with remote control and microphone, a zippered carrying case.

The Master Tracks headphones deliver amazing sound and they really stay put.  One thing I like about them is that they only weigh 243 g, or about 8.5 ounces. The headphones slide on the headband and you can position them wherever you want, which is great if you are sharing these with another family member. Not that you will want to because you may feel a little possessive of them. (Not that I do or anything.)

You don’t have to take my word for the sound. Here’s a review of the headphones from Yahoo Finance. What I noticed when wearing them was the range of sound that I don’t often hear when I wear other headphones. It made me realize I was probably missing some of the subtleties of my music when I was using lower quality headphones.

I have an iPhone and they work great with it, especially when John is doing some grocery shopping at Sam’s and calls me about every 6 minutes. I don’t have to take the headphones off to talk to him – the microphone is built right in. Nice. (You don’t have to use these with an Apple product!)

I wore them walking, I wore them writing, and I even wore them when doing my easy strength training workout. (I didn’t get a picture outside because I was done walking before anyone in the family got up and then it started to pour. )
