Biography

Diane Carbonell is a  mother to seven children and lives in Tennessee. She lost 158 pounds thirteenyears ago and has maintained the impressive weight loss through four pregnancies, three state-to-state moves, and an adoption reunion.

Diane was featured in the April 2010 edition of Shape magazine.

Appearing on the Dr. Oz show in February of 2010, Diane shared her weight loss success story with a national audience.

Diane writes a weekly blog for Dr. Oz’s website.

Diane was the featured speaker at JumpStart Jackson, a local movement to fight childhood obesity. Expected attendance: 2,000 people.

Twice featured in the Tallahassee Democrat (1998, 2006) as a weight loss success story, Diane also rotated as a community Health & Fitness columnist for the Democrat.

Interviewed several times by local radio stations, Diane enjoys sharing her passion for weight loss success and maintenance to a variety of audiences.

Diane developed, wrote, and currently teaches her own weight loss class, Fit to the Finish.

Diane also authors the popular blog, Fit to the Finish, (www.fittothefinish.com/blog) where she regularly receives over a thousand comments a month. Diane was recently featured on Frito-Lay’s corporate blog, and is a guest blogger for Frito-Lay.
